Before you write about an error
Two things that are not errors, and come up often: the figures are rounded on purpose, so a scenario using a flat $10M retention is illustrative rather than typical; and clause behaviour varies by market, so a description that does not match your treaty may still be right for someone else’s. Both are covered in the terms of use. Everything else — genuinely wrong arithmetic especially — we want to hear about.
